Resistance and Grief

The word resistance kept appearing in front of me. It was mid-November. I saw it phrased as a question, “What are you resisting?” It appeared as a suggestion, “receive without resistance.” I contemplated what on earth it could mean. I dug deep to unearth what I was resisting or what I was supposed to receive without resistance. I came up empty.

Small Big Things

This week I’ve been made aware again that it’s often the small things that make the difference between feeling like things are going well and they’re not or feeling like you’re coping or you’re not.

Gentle Acceptance

There hasn’t been much that feels gentle about the last period. With everything seemingly changing hour by hour, uncertainty weighs heavy. Here are a couple of things that helped shift me to this place of gentle acceptance.
