Canadians are more anxious and depressed than we were eight months ago. In less than encouraging statistics, Canadians are drinking more alcohol and using more drugs. Since the start of the pandemic, we are exercising less and watching more TV.
Last night I remembered a valuable lesson my dad taught me many years ago. This lesson has stuck with me throughout my life to date and become a foundational part of me.
If you’re physically fit, you can climb steep hills without physical stress. If you’re mentally fit, you can handle life’s great challenges without mental stress or other negative emotions. You’ll be happier and perform better.
