I feel like the director of my life just gave the call for action. The cameras are rolling, and this is no dress rehearsal. I knew the call would come; I just didn’t know exactly when. Somehow although I do not feel precisely ready, the time is now, and that is okay. Life never seems to happen according to schedule, and in those times when I expect it to, it catches me by surprise. I am learning to improvise. I am learning to be okay with figuring it out as I go along instead of having to start out knowing all my lines. In some mad world, I used to think it was possible and even necessary to start flawlessly. I do not feel that way anymore, and it is giving me the freedom to say yes to all kinds of things. 2018 is indeed the year of possibility. I have got the yeses to prove it.
